Google Chat! Now Available

The new feature whereby you can chat to your contacts via the Google Mail user interface has officially been distrubuted! The next time you log into your Gmail account, you should (if your language is en-US) get a screen telling you about the new feature. Happy chatting! Anyone want to chat? :D .

Update: The chat feature becomes unavailable if you use the Gmail Notifier extension for Firefox for some reason. You may have to visit this page to get the chat feature, and the rest of the en-US features back.

Update 2: An update for the extension has now been released (version 0.5.5.1) which fixes this issue.

Just thought that I’d bring this to your attention to cheer you up. Even if you’ve never played Battlefield 2 before, you’ll still get some laughs from it. Very unexpected :) . The ending is rather good.
