Acts of God; of Horror

October 11th, 2005

This week has been really quite sad, to say the least. First, on the weekend, the earthquake in, near and around Pakistan, I think, took many people by surprise. I, personally, would never have thought an earthquake of that magnitude would occur there. Then, today, I open the Sun newspaper and there’s a near full-page picture of an act of thuggery that could not have been forseen.

The picture of a dalmation puppy, hanging from a silver birch tree with a noose around its neck. I won’t distress people further by publishing the picture here; it would only please the scum who did it further. When I saw it I thought it unimaginable that British people, infact any person, could do this. It makes me sick; truely and utterly sick and I think this is another chance to review our justice system. On the old ‘Sunny Boy’s Blog’, I talked a few times about the British Justice System and how we need tougher penalites for everything, to take a more serious approach, such as the American system (but much better) – including the death penalty. The thugs who did this awful killing (and it is a killing (not a murder; as murder is only defined between humans)) should be caught, be forced to pay £300 (the worth of that breed) and either 18 months community service wearing orange suits or a jail sentence of a year. I guarentee, if we send all the thugs, hardcore chavs and violent teenagers to jail for atleast a year, they will certainly change their ways.

Well, I don’t want to waste this post on Project Zebra development notes, but it’s coming along nicely. A new theme system has been integrated so all theme designers need to to is create a few files, add the correct PHP functions and create a stylesheet – and they’re off! Exciting. Anyway, spread this site around please!

Yay! I’m Free!

Well, this weekend I will finally have time to continue coding Project Zebra. I have done no coding on Project Zebra for around 2 weeks because of a hefty homework load thanks to a particular subject called Technology. But, I’m going to get my laptop hot and wear out the letter stickers on the keys for you! I do doubt that it will actually be released on the 5th November 2005, but I will aim for a date before 15th November 2005. I do have excuses such as mock exams and actual GCSE exams, but that doesn’t really excuse me.

Lately, I’ve been buying alot off eBay and have bought a few Coca-Cola collectable items including a comemorative pin-badge made for the 1908 London Olympics (the IV Olympiad), a rare Coca-Cola t-shirt, a Coca-Cola “I only drink the real thing!” badge and a Japan-only Final Fantasy Coca-Cola figurine; sealed. I will use most of this, and sell some of it on for more money :) . I also have some O2 sim cards for sale. If you want one, they’re £2.99 each and if you want me to send it to you, they’re £3.49 (£2.99 + £0.50 P&P). So, just e-mail me at sunnyboy01235@gmail.com to get more info.

Well, I’ll leave you now for a lovely weekend and I’ll continue to update you on my progress. Update your feed URIs, update your bookmarks and check back soon. Yeah!

Hello World

October 6th, 2005

Welcome to the new Sunny Boy’s Blog. Coming live from a server somewhere that maybe near you! I know what you’re thinking – what’s happened to all those lovely, mature posts you’ve made over the past 2/3 years? Well, don’t fret, I have kept copies of all my old posts here: http://blog.eop.org.uk/archive/. Have a look around!

Well, I’m off now. This blog will be for me personal insights and views and not for my tech progress, although if Project Zebra brakes, then this will be for tech insights as well :) .
