(3) News Roundup

I’m going to try and start a new and regular feature here on Sunny Man’s Blog. Each week, I’ll post an image that has symbols, some quite obvious and some very subtle, about what has happened in the news and on the internet from the past week. I’m not going to tell you what they are, but if you can attach a piece of news to each symbol, then give yourself a pat on the back.
Another instalment of News Roundup. If you can attach a piece of news to all the symbols, leave a comment! A little harder this week - remember to leave a comment. Sorry it’s a bit late, the previous post will provide the reasons if you are of the curious nature.

The noose has got to be the verdict of Saddam Hussein’s trial.
As for the cows, could that be something to do with the human-cow embryos?

W = 1 x 10^8, 3Ws so must be 3 x 10^8 which is the speed of light in m/s
Wahey :). Well, the cow symbol was meant for the release of moo.fx version 2, but good. The 1*10^8 meant the WWW passing the 100 million web pages mark . Dunno if FreeView was recently in the news but the 3D TV icon and the Windows Live logo was meant to mean the new Virtual Earth (3D Live Maps).
Good, good. I rushed this week’s image - that’s why nothing it happening with Herbert this week.
